True Healers’ Plight

Bombarded all at once, I be,
Surrounded by negative energies.
The mind and body full of pain –
Meditation, long past, to cleanse the stain.

The earth is screaming her last rite,
With every death – added plight.
Fueled no longer by the sage –
She screams out fully enraged.

Tidal waves I do see,
Within the threads of all that be –
Demons dancing with delight,
Forgotten what was wrong and right.

My penance for life past –
Full of presence, here at last.
Living between gladness and pain –
Always to feel everyone’s emotional strain.

This is how it is when you draw,
Energies from not one but all.
A healing manner, by decree –
Only for you, but not for me.

Queer as it is but be it near or far –
You’ll feel my presence wherever you are.
A thought, a feeling, or an inkling may be –
Slight contact to you through telepathy.

Now pushing passed the point of pain –
Filter I must, to remove the strain.
Older words are needed speak –
Negative to positive to flood the breach.

Releasing energy as I must,
Inner turmoil turns to dust.
Past through present, one I be –
Sent by our Father, to heal humanity.

About Dawn Marie Paone DiMartino

I had lived most of my youth in New York, but have been a native of Florida for over 20+ years. I am recently remarried, a mother of 4 adult children, 5 grandchildren, and a retired analyst. My passion for writing and drawing started at a very early age. I have continued through my adult life taking a pen to hand and compiling my innermost thoughts, feelings and expressions on paper. My writing and drawing keep me in a calming frame of mind when I am putting it all down. Some/Most of my writings can tell you about my personal story. I have published a 4 poetry books, 3 children's books, and have been involved in 4 anthologies.
